This brooder is a variation of my most popular standard model, featuring "caged windows" instead of solid wood sides. To ensure it remains structurally rock-solid, I start with solid wood panels, router out the windows, and secure the wire between the frame and the original wood trim.

Like my other builds, it’s fully loaded with premium features: a slide-out clean-out drawer, heavy-duty 3.5-inch hinges, high-end handles and latches, a large top-access door, and a built-in light bar for your heat lamps.

Green Treated Plywood: $50 (Frame of all cages is built with treated lumber, but they do not come with treated plywood unless you select this option. This is an upgrade to add green treated plywood)

Large Nesting Box: $25 (16-inch long nesting box)

I hand-stretch all of my wire for maximum strength. For a true durability test, my Pug, Noodle, has personally vetted its resilience! You can trust it to securely hold everything from delicate chicks to full-sized chickens and rabbits.
